Some time earlier we talked about the conversion of PDf files in to Word,HTML documents.If you have to extract some data from PDF files then you can also do this by first converting them into Word or HTML files after that is very easy,simple copy paste.But if you are interested in extracting text from PDF files directly,without converting them in to another format.Then PDFtextonline a online free utility that extracts text from PDF files directly.

How To Enable Thumbnails For PSD (Photoshop) Files

Normally PSD (adobe Photoshop) files uses photoshop's icon even when you try to view thumbnail view.They generally don't show thumbnail view of the image. It might be very discouraging if you have to look for a particular image in a folder containing lots of PSD files.

For simplicity purpose you can enable the thumbnail view of adobe phothop's PSD images.This is quite simple, just follow these steps

1.Download psicon.dll in zip format from here.
2.Unzip it.(now you will have 3 files. psicon.dll, psicon.dll.reg and read me.txt)
3.Copy the psicon.dll to the following path:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Shell\

If adode directory does not have a shell folder then create it.

4. After copying, double click the psicon.dll.reg file and click yes when it ask are you sure to add ... this information into registry.
5. Click OK, for the info window that pops up to tell us that the registry key has been copied.

Go to any folder containing PSD files, and choose Thumbnails from the View menu. You should now be able to view the thumbnails for PSD files, just as you see thumbnails of .jpeg,.gif images.

Crack password protected PDF files by a freeware

If you want to open a PDF file which is password protected then for this purpose you can use a freeware utility PDF crack[Developer site].It is available for download in ZIP format.Download it here .Then extract it.This freeware is a small EXE file after executing it from cmd prompt it will show you some options ,then use that accordingly.

The default command is pdfcrack.exe -f filename OPTIONS. Cracking a file called abc.pdf without options would be possible with the command pdfcrack.exe -f abc.pdf

The options can be used to load a dictionary file, specify a minimum and maximum length for the password, permutating passwords (currently only uppercase for first letter) or use only the characters specified in a given string as chars for the password.

I tried it for my mobile bill PDF file which was password protected.


It provide me the exact password for the PDF file while i was using Adobe reader 7.You can see the snapshot for the commands i performed for retrieving the password of my PDF file.

So it is great password cracking , recovering utility for Adobe PDF files which are password protected.

How to convert PDF,RTF,DOC,XLS, into HTML and text file online

To convert a PDF,XLS,DOC,RTF document in to HTML document online you can use your Gmail account. Compose a mail and attach any PDF,XLS,DOC,RTF document into it and send it to your own Gmail account means simply write your own email address in To: section.

After that you will receive the email from your address and when you will open this , it will be like this.Then select view as HTML.

Another way of doing this is to use online converter by adobe itself but this is limited up to the conversion of PDF files in to HTML or TEXT files. It is not applicable for other kind of documents like XLS,DOC,RTF.

There are two methods for doing this via email or by adobe site itself.


Via email:

Mail you PDF attachment to pdf2txt@adobe.com for converting your PDF file into text file and send your attachment to pdf2html@adobe.com for converting your PDF document in to HTML document.After doing this you will recieve email from Adobe with the converted document.


Via adobe online conversion tool:

What you have to do is go to adobe online conversion tool where you can provide the url of the PDF document and select output format for it and then convert it to either HTML or TEXT file.

Indian politician use photoshop

Indian politician uses photoshop for gathering crowd in their shows.This was revealed by
a site kashmirnews which showed the photograph of the rally of the chief minister of J&K
MR. Gulam nabi Azad. These photographs were released by the department of information of J&K.

They clearly shows that photoshop's clone stamp was used for adding crowd to the photographs.

So its clear that the attempt was very good but hawk eye vision of Kashmir news people caught
