Direct download files from Google pages

I recently come to know a striking feature of Google pages that you can upload your data files to it, on it own server and can allow the other user to let them download that material by providing a link of it.

What I like the most about Googlepages is I can upload files to Google server and I can direct download the files without any problem. Although the space is limited, only 100Mb is allowed but it does not bother me.


Actually this 100 Mb limit is for one account only means that if you want more space then you can create more and more Gmail accounts and then get 100 Mb additional for each account.So you can say endless amount is there for you.



You can use this in a situation like that if you have freeware software or Mp3 files etc. that you want to share with people then you can simply upload that files to Google pages using your Gmail account and provide the link of that to other users which can simply access that material by following the link.

This provides you an online unlimited storage space.You can also use Gmail as online storage derive.

Scan your system for malware by Hijack this ,a freeware

Hijack this a freeware utility which provides the quick and efficient malware scanning and detection.HijackThis is good for many reasons like it’s free, it’s small and a stand-alone file, it scans very fast, and it’s widely used — so many people are familiar with using it and analyzing results.

HijackThis is now owned by TrendMicro and available for free.You can download it here [ver 1.99] and here [ver beta 2.0],these are two different versions.As you will like to use this more than once, let’s keep it someplace for future use.

Extract the hijackthis.exe file and put it somewhere like "C:\Program Files\HijackThis "the reason for having it’s own folder is that it creates backups of files you remove, in the event that you need to restore them.


After this execute the .exe file and then it will perform the full system scan.It will scan the registry, startup items, browser start pages, system information files, the HOSTS file, and more.

After this it will show you the scan results. Many of these items in the list are actually good. For example, it will report all of your startup items, and it’s up to you to choose which ones are bad and need to be fixed. Fortunately, you have lots of help choosing what to fix. When the scan is complete, choose Save Log and save the log file to your Desktop. Don't close the software..

Now goto its site and upload your scan results to it.It will redirect you to a page which will explain you your results and the you can choose which item is to be deleted from the still running Hijack this.
