The whole incident was very shocking to her, and it has become more and more upsetting. It's like a virus that's spreading on the Internet."
Arpaio, 26, of New Jersey, is suing Dupre, 23, and "Girls Gone Wild" impresario Joe Francis for more than $10 million, claiming identity theft, defamation and invasion of privacy.The video was heavily promoted after Dupre gained notoriety in March for her Spitzer romp.
We want to prevent this from happening again. 'Girls Gone Wild' veryeasily could have remedied the situation through a request for backupidentification. They didn't do that. It's grossly negligent ," said Joseph Fell, another lawyer for Arpaio, whose complaint was filed in federal court in New Jersey.
