How to know the stats, page views of any wikipedia article

Wikipedia is a very popular site and so as its articles. You can feel this very easily means that whenever you search for any item on Internet either on Google or yahoo then you can find the wikipedia article of that item in top results most of the time. This can easily determine the popularity of that article or most of the wikipedia article.

But if you are interested in knowing the exact stats of any wikipedia article on wikipedia then officially there is no tool for this but labnol has something to say about this issue."Using the raw server logs from Wikistats, Wikipedia administrator Henrik has created a tool at stats.grok.se that shows how many times any particular page has been viewed on Wikipedia. It’s something like Google Analytics for Wikipedia with public access."

Initially this was limited up to English articles only but now this is expanding. Now you can see daily page views of any article of any language (initial data about them is from February). This also contains a list of top 1000 wikipedia articles by looking at which you can easily find out the popularity of items or persons.

If you are going to have a look at the list then you may be surprised to see the results. These are quite different from what you think that what people may be searching wikipedia for and you can't believe that things like pen**,vag** are among top 100 and are more popular then Canada, global warming, Abraham Lincoln,George bush etc.
