from its website .Paid software for this purpose were available a long ago.
It is around 9MB in size but it convert the text in image file into the text in a text file efficiently. Which might be usefull when you just take a picture of the note or magazine page while on a move and you have no time to read it but you consider it important and would lke to read it when you got chance.
